We invite you all to a symposium arranged by the Danish Optical Society (DOPS) on spectroscopy in Denmark – applications, developments and hardware.
Location: DTU Risø, Niels Bohr Auditorium/Koch Auditorium
Time: September 30, 2015
The Danish Optical Society is hosting a day where distributors, developers of hardware and users will have the opportunity to meet, discuss and share their area of interest with others in the field.
This seminar will give the participants from all branches of the field a unique opportunity to meet, discuss and exchange ideas, recommendations and tie new relations.
Program for the day
The program for the day is now available in this pdf:
Industrial users of spectroscopic equipment are urged to give oral presentations of their present applications and their forecasts for future applications. These presentations should address both users in the universities as well as the manufacturers, thus paving the road for future collaboration.
Users and developers at universities are asked to give presentations of their ongoing work in the field. Presentations in Danish or English language are accepted. A short abstract of the presentation including the title and the presenter should be sent to Steen G. Hanson (firstname.lastname@example.org) before September 15.
You can find the abstracts by following this link.
Manufacturers and representatives of spectroscopy equipment will have the opportunity to set up a booth where their equipment can be displayed. The booth is free if the company is member of DOPS. The fee for a booth for non-members will be DKK 1250,- . Also, there will be time available for shorter oral presentations, where emphasis should be on future developments and associated equipment.
A lunch at the site will be arranged in order to provide extra time for seeing the exhibitions and for mutual discussions. A dinner will be sought arranged on Roskilde Fjord on the steam boat Sagafjord
You will receive an invoice in September that can be paid either by Paypal or by bank transfer.
