Dear EOS Member,

Due to the great interest we have decided to extend the abstract submission deadline for the EOS Topical Meeting on Advanced Optical Imaging to be held in Imperial College, from 29 June to 1 July 2005, until the 1 March 2005.

The conference aims to cover a large range of topics including:

  • Advanced techniques in microscopy and lithography.
  • three-dimensional imaging.
  • Polarization imaging.
  • Aperture synthesis.
  • Spectral imaging.
  • Super-resolution / sub-wavelength imaging.
  • Optical coherence and diffraction tomography.
  • Diffractive optics in imaging.
  • Image processing.
  • Adaptive optics.
  • Optical data storage.
  • Medical imaging.
  • Imaging based on the use of multiply-scattered photons.
  • Use of phase singularities in imaging.
  • Near field techniques.

Please could you submit your abstract by 1 March 2005 via email to info@myeos.org indicating whether you would prefer oral or poster presentation. You will be notified of the acceptance of your abstract within about 3 weeks of submission.

Guidelines for abstract preparation and other conference news can be found at http://ptweb.op.ph.ic.ac.uk/~torokp/aoi or via the EOS website www.myeos.org. Registration for the meeting can be done via EOS online shop.

Confirmed invited speakers are:
