Delta Optical Thin Film has appointed Michael Stanley Pedersen as its new Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Poul Svensgaard, who will continue to contribute to the company in his role on the Board of Directors. The transition marks a planned generational shift aimed at strengthening the company’s long‑term growth and innovation strategy.
Founded in the 1970s, Delta Optical Thin Film is a leading manufacturer of high‑performance OEM optical filters for demanding applications including fluorescence microscopy, spectroscopy, semiconductor manufacturing, machine vision, and tunable light sources. The company is internationally recognised for its expertise in Linear Variable Filters, Bandpass and Multi‑Bandpass Filters, Edge and Blocking Filters, and Dichroic Beam Splitters.
